Independent Agent Referral Program
Terms & Conditions
Overview. Steadily’s Independent Agent Referral Program (the “Referral Program”) is designed to reward currently appointed agents (or agents whose agency holds an appointment) for referring other licensed agents to become appointed with Steadily. Participation in the Referral Program is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”).
By participating in the Referral Program, you (“Referrer”) agree to these T&Cs.
Eligibility. Only agents who are currently appointed with Steadily are eligible to participate in the Program. Referred individuals must be licensed to sell dwelling property insurance in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and must not:
- Already be appointed with Steadily;
- Be eligible for appointment through an existing aggregator or agency relationship;
- Have been referred previously under this promotion; or
- Be in the process of becoming appointed with Steadily.
Referral Requirements. To qualify for a referral reward, the following conditions must be met:
- Referrer must submit a referral through the Steadily referral page (steadily.com/refer-an-agent) and abide by these T&Cs,
- The referred agent must complete the agent appointment request form (currently located at steadily.com/agent-appointments),
- The referred agent must qualify for a Steadily appointment, including being licensed in eligible MGA States and meeting landlord book size minimums and
- Only one referral reward is payable per referred agent.
Referral Payment. A reward of $50 per qualified referral will be paid to the Referrer. All rewards are processed via TangoCard and issued as digital gift cards to the email address provided by the Referrer. Available gift card options include (but are not limited to): Amazon, Uber, Apple, Google Play, Instacart+, Netflix, Spotify, Starbucks, and Walmart. The user gets to choose one of these options upon receiving their reward, meaning they could ultimately redeem e-gift cards at all or any of these vendors if they referred multiple agents. They are not bound to repeat referral denominations to one single retail redemption option.
Referral Program Conduct and Limitations.
- Referrer agrees not to submit false or misleading information and not to use the Referral Program for fraudulent purposes.
- Referral links must be used as provided and tracked through Steadily’s platform. Referrers may not use deceptive or misleading marketing tactics.
Referral Caps. Steadily reserves the right to impose limits on the number of referral rewards a Referrer may receive under this Referral Program. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Steadily:
- A Referrer may earn referral rewards for up to 40 successful referrals per any consecutive twelve month period.
- Any referrals submitted beyond this cap may be accepted but will not qualify for reward payments.
- Steadily may, in its sole discretion, adjust or waive the referral cap based on Referrer performance, compliance history, or strategic partnerships.
Nondisparagement. Each Party agrees that neither it nor its representatives shall make, publish, or communicate to any third party any false, misleading, or disparaging statements about the other Party, its products, services, or business practices. This provision does not restrict either Party from making truthful statements as required by law or legal proceedings.
Governing Law. These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these T&Cs shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
Severability. If any provision of these T&Cs should be invalid, illegal or in conflict with any applicable state or federal law or regulation, such law or regulation shall control, to the extent of such conflict, without affecting the remaining provisions of these T&Cs.
Compliance with Laws. Participants must prominently disclose that advertisements and messaging around Steadily are advertisements and that participant may receive compensation.
Steadily Rights. Steadily reserves the right to accept or reject referred agents, in its sole discretion. Steadily reserves the right to not issue or withhold referral payments if Steadily determines the Referrer or Referred Agent has submitted false or misleading information. Steadily may suspend or modify this Referral Program at any time without prior notice. Any changes will not affect the payment of referrals previously submitted and qualified.
