My name is Ryan Sey. I'm one of the two partners at Omega Insurance Group. We're an independent agency focused a lot on personal lines — mainly home, auto, and rental properties — though we do have a commercial book of business too.
We don't have access to a lot of carriers that will write standalone rental properties. The majority of the companies we write with require the primary residence as well in order to write a rental property, and so that eliminated a lot of our carriers.
When we were made aware of Steadily, we reached out, and that filled a void for what we were looking for in terms of having another option and being able to place those types of risks. The onboarding was super easy — almost immediate. The quoting platform itself is really simple, so it probably cuts our quoting time down by about a third.
